The Enchanted Island was located between Oxford and London. The seasons on the island were different from the rest of Brytain; during the winter of 1986 it appeared to be spring on the Enchanted Island. It was inhabited solely by the Queen Diania who tried to steal Lyra Belacqua from Malcolm Polstead and Alice Parslow when they visited the island.
There was also a fireplace in a ring of stones with a copper pot hanging over it which was used for cooking.[1]
Flora and fauna[]
The island was home to trees and birds such as blackbirds, sparrows and larks. It was also covered in grass.[1]
